Happy International Women’s Day to all the wonderful ladies that work at O&S Doors.

We have over 100 fabulous ladies working with us, so it was only right that we acknowledge their hard work and dedication today.

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.

International Women’s Day has occurred for over a century, with the first gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people and has been celebrated in countries all over the world ever since.

We are proud to announce that we have opened a brand-new depot, only ten minutes from Manchester airport.This news has been well received by our OS EXPRESS customers who can expect shorter lead times as a result.

Our new premises includes a dedicated warehouse, trade counter, showroom, and logistical hub with over forty unique door styles and finishes in stock, available for same day collection or 24hr delivery.

Are you in the Manchester area? Call into our showroom which is presented by a friendly and knowledgeable workforce that will assist you and your customers as you browse through the selection of frontals that we have to offer.

A self-service, touch screen ordering platform is also available. Once your order has been placed on the self-service system, it will be picked and ready for immediate collection.

Chris Hazelhurst, Commercial Director at OS EXPRESS Manchester says that he is looking forward to welcoming customers; old and new to our first OS EXPRESS UK Distribution Centre.

Our company is now 25 years in business which will be celebrated at our 410,000 sq ft state of the art manufacturing facility in Benburb, Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

We currently employ over 350 highly skilled workers that specialise in 5Piece, Edged, Painted and Vinyl door production. We produce around 60,000 individual items each week.

We offer our customers a superb online ordering system containing over 6,000 door styles and finishes available to all customers with made to measure options. Since launching our new website, it has proven to show efficiency in our production facility.

We have seen substantial growth over the last few years with trade counters opening in both Santry and Clondalkin, Co. Dublin.

Both trade counters are stocked with a selection of best-selling doors and accessories which are available to be ordered and collected immediately. Both trade counters offer a superb click and collect service available to all customers on made to measure orders, which has received excellent feedback from our customers in the wider Dublin area.

With the continued success and excellent feedback of OS Doors trade counters in Dublin, it is expected that this can be replicated in the new Manchester Depot that was developed specifically to service OS EXPRESS customers.

We’ve made some incredible progress at our fabulous new showroom that can be found at Unit 9, Boeing Road, Airways Industrial Estate, Dublin D17 P863

Our goal for this showroom was to provide our customers with an inspirational gallery packed with all our most recent door styles and finishes to explore.

We encourage our customers to use our showroom as their own. Take your customers along and show them the incredible range that O&S Doors has to offer.

Our team attended Ireland’s Kitchen Trade Awards in the Titanic building Belfast on Friday 25th September 2022 and brought home the title of Sustainable Supplier of the Year.

The judges commented;
“In this category we were impressed with this groups all encompassing eco policy.
Sustainability is a huge part of their cultural divisions and it is clear that they are committed to the overall environmental impact.
They were able to demonstrate their passion for locality and got a 100% recycling initiative.
They’re doing everything they could be and should be doing and more.”

Our environmental team have worked tirelessly to ensure that we are manufacturing cabinet frontals and components in the most environmentally friendly way possible.

Congratulations to our team that represented O&S Doors on the night, thank you to Ireland’s Kitchen Trade Guide for hosting the event and to Top Form Ltfd who sponsored our award.

Well done to everyone involved, we are now Sustainable Supplier of the Year.

Each year at Christmas, we aim to choose one incredible charity and we host a fundraiser on their behalf. As a large organisation, our social responsibility in our local community is very important important to us.

This year we decided to give back to a charity that is very close to our hearts, this charity has been feeling the pressure this year more than ever before as the cost of living steadily rises. We choose to support “Digg deep for Kids” who work very hard each year at Christmas to ensure that no matter what the circumstances, every child receives a gift and the supplies that they need to have a wonderful holiday.

We’re very proud to share that together as a team, our Factory in Benburb and Trade Counters in Dublin have raised over £13,600 this Christmas!

This year we hosted a big Christmas raffle and what a wonderful day we had, we definitely felt the Christmas spirit here at O&S Doors.

Thank you so much to all our wonderful sponsors who provided prizes for our raffle and made cash donations.

Thank you to our wonderful team for selling raffle tickets and helping out in every way possible to make a difference in our community this year.

The team in Benburb, Santry & Clondalkin enjoyed Christmas tunes, hot chocolates and lots of yummy treats all for a great cause.

We will be donating £2,600 of our funds raised to a food bank in Dublin and the remainder £11,000 will be donated to the wonderful @diggmama for the Digg Deep for kids Christmas appeal.

The highlight of our week was having visitors all the way from Galway from @atugalwaycity

It was a pleasure to host the students and give them a tour around our facility, sharing our knowledge and experience of our ongoing robotic automation projects.

As the future generation of the wood working industry in Ireland we are happy to be included as a part of the education and experience of the students, it is a great way to build their network and hone their skills.

All our valued employees enjoyed a freshly cooked BBQ with refreshments and ice-creams to finish.
