3 Days – 300 Miles Cycle

A massive congratulations

to Paul McCullagh our Project and Planning Manager, for completing a 300mile cycle over the past 3 days!

After months of training leading up to this special event where all the hard work paid off, we just wanted to say how proud we are of Paul and the whole Giro D’JJ team, they have raised over £77k for Northern Ireland Hospice Giro D’JJ

OS Doors have recently been awarded for providing work experience placement for young people, giving the students an opportunity to use all their skills and knowledge taken from learning and applying it in the workplace.

We are very pleased to see the curiosity in young people taking on the placement, it is a joy to be a part of their learning and seeing them successfully undertaking their own tasks.

OS Doors have recently partnered with MEGA with the aim of building the future pipeline of skills for our sector.

MEGA is an industry-led collaborative network working together towards a common goal. Their mission is to promote the manufacturing and engineering sector as a source of high-value, long-term employment and to create transformational career opportunities that deliver skills for life.

On Thursday 5th September, we were delighted to take part in the Pilot MEGA Apprentice Induction Morning organised by @midulster.mega and the MEGA Apprenticeship Sub Committee.

Our Apprentices were introduced to the expectations, roles and responsibilities of being an apprentice and how this fits with being an employee and student.
We wish Chelsea the best of luck as she embarks on the CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management. We also welcome Conall Sheehy to the team. Conall will be completing the Degree Apprenticeship in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering in conjunction with the University of Ulster.

We are delighted to share the news that we have just despatched our first significant order to the USA!

Following a detailed design and specification process, our first container of Kitchen cabinet doors left our factory in Benburb yesterday afternoon bound for Chicago.

We are really proud of this key milestone and all our hard working staff who have made this possible ✨

With more orders in the pipeline, exciting times lie ahead for O&S Doors.

Installer Show 2024

Darkness Into Light 2024

A number of our incredible employees taking part in the Darkness into Light walk 2024 on Saturday, 11th May at 4.15am to raise vital funds for people affected by suicide and self-harm.

Pieta have partnered with like-minded charities in Northern Ireland to continue to help provide life-saving services for those who need it

The Niamh Louise Foundation – International Women’s Day – Mental Health, Self Harm & Suicide Prevention Workshop

In support of International Women’s Day on Friday 8th March, we welcomed Niamh Louise Foundation who delivered a workshop on mental health, self harm and suicide prevention for our female staff members.

At the Niamh Louise Foundation, they provide one-to-one support and care for anyone in crisis with thoughts of suicide and self harm. They also provide support for bereaved families who have lost a loved one to suicide and support for those who have been affected by suicide.

A massive thank you to the Jenny and Seanna from the foundation for providing the training and thank you to all of our female staff for participating. It is such an important topic that should be discussed and supported.
