Celebrating International Men’s Day with a well deserved coffee morning ☕ (21/11/25)

It was more than just a celebration, it’s a meaningful reminder to pause and appreciate the countless ways men show up every single day. From supporting their families with love and dedication, to strengthening communities through their actions and compassion in the workplace, their impact is felt in so many ways.

We honor their resilience, their kindness, their growth and their willingness to make a difference.

Happy International Men’s Day!

We were proud to present a £300 cheque to the Niamh Louise Foundation, a charity dedicated to supporting mental health and suicide prevention across our community.

The funds were raised through World Mental Health Day coffee morning and we’re honoured to support the incredible work the Foundation does to help those in need. 💪

A big thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make this donation possible. 💙

We were delighted to attend Invest NI’s “Powering Our Purpose” on the 15th October at the ICC Belfast, where our Operations Director Dermot O’Brien had the opportunity to speak and share his insight. 

It was an inspiring day that brought together over 300 local businesses to explore new opportunities for growth, innovation and collaboration.

Our Operations Director Dermot O’Brien joined fellow panellists to share insights on Embracing AI, Automation and Digital Transformation, Dermot contributed to discussions around how Northern Ireland businesses can embrace change and build resilience for the future.

A huge thank you to Invest NI for hosting such an engaging and forward-thinking event. It’s always great to connect, learn and be inspired by the amazing work happening across our business community.

 

On Fri 10th Oct we took a moment to pause and come together for a special coffee morning in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Day.

It’s an opportunity for everyone across the factory to step away from the busy day, enjoy a warm drink and a bite to eat along with having have a chat.

We all have a role to play in creating a supportive and understanding workplace. One where it’s ok to check in with each other to talk & listen.

In aid of the Niamh Louise Foundation.

At O&S Doors, sustainability isn’t just a goal, it’s a journey we’re committed to! Introducing electric vehicles across our factory floor, by adding new equipment like an electric picker and two electric pallet trucks, every upgrade brings us closer to a greener future. Recently, we also added our brand-new electric vans. 🚐⚡

By embracing electric transport, we’re reducing our carbon footprint, cutting down on emissions and building a cleaner future for both our people and our environment. We’re thrilled to announce the arrival of our new electric vans ⚡🚐🔋

This is a major step forward in our ongoing commitment to sustainability. We’re constantly exploring new ways to enhance sustainability across our business and our electric vans are the latest step in that journey.

If you spot us out on the road don’t forget to wave! 👋🏼

Recently, we also installed electric charging systems to support this transition. These not only power our new electric vans but also give our employees the opportunity to charge their own electric vehicles.

A huge thank you to Drivallia IE and Paul from Every Vehicle Lease Ltd for helping us bring this vision to life by providing us with the vans.

Today the OS Doors team proudly presented a cheque for £1,370 to Marie and Sidney from Marie Curie NI 🌼

This donation was made in memory of our employee Grazia, with funds raised at our Coffee Morning and the Newell Run.

We had the pleasure of handing over the cheque alongside Grazia’s sister Alicja and her father Wladyslaw.

Marie Curie nurses provide compassionate, hands on care to people living with a terminal illness in the comfort of their own homes. They offer vital emotional support to families and carers, working tirelessly day and night across our local area.
