We’ve received some wonderful news this morning.

We have been shortlisted as a finalist for Manufacturer of the Year 2023 at the Made in NI Awards.

This is an incredible achievement for our business as we approach our 25 years in business milestone.

We are the manufacturer of choice to some of the Uk’s and Northern Irelands leading kitchen, bathroom and bedroom retailers. Currently, O&S Doors Ltd are the chosen manufacturer to over 1,000 customers based in Northern Ireland alone.

In November 2022, our team won the title of Sustainable Supplier of the Year at Irelands Kitchen Trade Awards. The future of Sustainable Manufacturing is incredibly important to our team in Benburb, Northern Ireland.

We have an environmental team who successfully introduced a zero waste to landfill policy, ensured all our raw materials were sourced from ethically managed forests and introduced a new solvent recovery system to our factory, to assist the breakdown of excess paint from our paint line and to enable us to reuse chemicals as cleaning agents in our Factory.

With the purchase of seven new electric forklifts, O&S Doors hope to be self-sufficient by 2024 with an investment of hot air turbines to our manufacturing facility. We estimate that we can generate enough natural electricity to power our factory and offices each year.

Our New Product Development team attend trade shows in Italy, Spain and all over the UK seeking inspiration for emerging trends in the marketplace. Our team are always the first to introduce new door styles and colours to the Market.

This means that all our customers have access to the newest styles and trends compared to those who buy from our competitors.

We have the widest choice of styles and colours available, with over 6,000 door styles and colour combinations we offer our customer choice like no other manufacturer.

We are also known to have the shortest lead times in the industry on our made to measure doors and components. No other Manufacturer in Northern Ireland can take on large quantity made to measure orders and have ready for dispatch in as little as 5 working days. Ex.Stock items are available for same-day dispatch.

We have a superb Marketing support service available free of charge to all our customers. We offer Marketing support by providing customers with access to our design library which consists of a large collection of high-quality images that our customers can use in their advertising, on their websites and in their brochures.

We have an end-user facing brand called Ethos. We design and print luxury Ethos brochures featuring our products that our customers can use as their own.

We have a committed quality control team that are focused on the consistent quality of all items manufactured. We hold certificates from the British Assessment Bureau ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 that state we are manufacturing to consistently to standard.

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.

International Women’s Day has occurred for over a century, with the first gathering in 1911 supported by over a million people and has been celebrated in countries all over the world ever since.

Our goal for this showroom was to provide our customers with an inspirational gallery packed with all our most recent door styles and finishes to explore.

We encourage our customers to use our showroom as their own. Take your customers along and show them the incredible range that O&S Doors has to offer.

Our team attended Ireland’s Kitchen Trade Awards in the Titanic building Belfast on Friday 25th September 2022 and brought home the title of Sustainable Supplier of the Year.

The judges commented;
“In this category we were impressed with this groups all encompassing eco policy.
Sustainability is a huge part of their cultural divisions and it is clear that they are committed to the overall environmental impact.
They were able to demonstrate their passion for locality and got a 100% recycling initiative.
They’re doing everything they could be and should be doing and more.”

Our environmental team have worked tirelessly to ensure that we are manufacturing cabinet frontals and components in the most environmentally friendly way possible.

Congratulations to our team that represented O&S Doors on the night, thank you to Ireland’s Kitchen Trade Guide for hosting the event and to Top Form Ltfd who sponsored our award.

Well done to everyone involved, we are now Sustainable Supplier of the Year.

The highlight of our week was having visitors all the way from Galway from @atugalwaycity

It was a pleasure to host the students and give them a tour around our facility, sharing our knowledge and experience of our ongoing robotic automation projects.

As the future generation of the wood working industry in Ireland we are happy to be included as a part of the education and experience of the students, it is a great way to build their network and hone their skills.

Today, we hosted our annual Summer BBQ here at our factory in Benburb and the turnout was incredible.

All our valued employees enjoyed a freshly cooked BBQ with refreshments and ice-creams to finish.
